MJ Antonini, PhD

Founder, CEO
MJ co‑founded the company in 2023 with Nicki Driscoll after postdoctoral work at MIT on multifunctional neural probes and translation of soft, flexible interfaces for peripheral and central neuromodulation. He holds advanced degrees in health sciences, bioengineering, and related fields and leads NeuroBionics through preclinical development and early commercialization efforts.

Nicki Driscoll, PhD

Founder, CTO
Nicki co-founded the company in 2023 with MJ Antonini after working as a postdoctoral researcher at MIT. She is a biomedical engineer with 12+ years of experience developing neurotechnologies with a focus on novel materials and fabrication strategies to develop soft and flexible bioelectronic interfaces. Nicki leads engineering and product development, with responsibility for translating technology from early R&D stage and preclinical validation to clinical use.

Ross Tsukashima

Head of Innovation
Ross leads cross‑functional teams that are moving novel neural interface technologies from research into preclinical development and early commercial pathways, with a focus on device integration, prototyping, and clinical readiness. He is an inventor, with 57 issued patents spanning neuro, cardiovascular, structural heart, GI, and ophthalmology.

Alyssa Boasso

Sr. Director of Program Management
Alyssa is an experienced program manager and neurotechnology leader with 10+ years in early-stage R&D, clinical research, and product development for neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders. At NeuroBionics she is leading the company’s preparation for Series A funding and helping to define the strategic direction and operational plans.

Meredith Seaborn

Sr. Director of Business Development and Product Strategy
Meredith brings more than 20 years of medical device industry experience to NeuroBionics, with prior roles at Medtronic and other companies spanning neuromodulation, business development, and product strategy. At NeuroBionics she leads commercial strategy, strategic partnerships, and product definition, translating clinical and customer insight into the company's path from first-in-human to early commercialization.

Erin Byrne Rousseau, PhD

Senior Biomedical Engineer II, preclinical & clinical affairs
Erin is focused on ethical implementation and patient centric design of NeuroBionics’ products. They previously worked at Boston Scientific as a Senior Systems Engineer and, prior to that, at MIT as a Postdoc Researcher and PhD student researching minimally invasive devices for biomarker discovery and disease treatment.

Evan Dakov

Mechanical Engineer I
Evan supports NeuroBionics' device development across design, prototyping, and test fixturing, contributing to fiber development and preclinical evaluation and manufacturing process refinement. Prior to NeuroBionics, he was an undergraduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University, where he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Katelyn Vo

Mechanical Engineer I
KD is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Olin College of Engineering who is focused on design, prototyping and R&D initiatives. She worked on a medical device sustainability project with Boston Scientific for her senior capstone project. She started out as one of NeuroBionics’ first Engineering Interns.

Andres Canales

Staff Fiber Engineer
Andres brings a deep technical background in neurological devices and materials science to his engineering role, where he leads R&D and tackles high-impact technical challenges across the organization. Prior to NeuroBionics, he was a Senior Advanced Functional Fiber Engineer at AFFOA and a Senior Laboratory Engineer at Advanced Silicon Group. He earned his PhD from MIT, where he also completed postdoctoral research.

Bennett Lauture

R&D Engineer Intern
Bennett is a recent graduate from Northeastern University where he earned his bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. He has previous experience in mechanical design and product development. At Neurobionics, he is contributing to device design with CAD modeling, 3D printing, and circuit design.

Brendan Evans

Sr. Staff Quality Engineer
Brendan brings deep quality engineering expertise in implantable neurotechnology and Class III medical devices to NeuroBionics, where he is building out the quality system and leading design control activities to support the company's first-in-human study and regulatory submissions. He previously held senior quality engineering roles at Synchron and Stryker, with experience spanning design assurance, risk management, and FDA submissions for novel neuromodulation platforms.

Karina Lamoreux

Quality Engineer Intern
Karina is a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from Olin College focused on supporting NeuroBionics' quality system buildout, including design verification documentation, inspection protocols, and design history file development. Her background includes a cost-reduction research project at Sensata Technologies, mechanical system design for a NASA-funded high-altitude atmospheric research initiative, and three years of mentorship in the Olin College machine shop.

Tchad Holmes

Senior Operations Manager
Tchad leads the end to end manufacturing and supply chain function. He is responsible for creating manufacturing consistency, improving quality and supporting the development of the company’s novel medical device fiber optics. He developed his expertise starting as a technician at OmniGuide and working his way up to end to end Operations Manager producing Class II devices and added onto his experience developing and commercializing innovative medical devices in an Ops Manager role at Podimetrics.

Sarith Loeung

Sr. Manufacturing Technician
Sarith brings over a decade of hands-on fiber and medical device manufacturing experience to NeuroBionics, where he executes complex builds, owns inspection and quality gates, and supports operator training and process improvement. He previously held manufacturing technician roles at Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA) and OmniGuide, where he developed deep expertise in precision fiber fabrication and medical device assembly.
